A Request is a simple post asking for help, advice, recommendations, or to connect with others in the community. Requests are public and shown in the Requests section for others to browse and respond to.
What are Request Categories?
Request categories help people find and respond to your post more easily. Examples include:
- Where can I…? – for local tips and pointers
- Need advice – for quick help or second opinions
- Help required – for task-based support
- Want to buy – if you’re searching for a product or item
- Collaboration opportunity – share an idea or team up
- Service – you’re looking to hire someone for a service
- Other – anything that doesn’t quite fit elsewhere
Free to post, easy to use
Requests are free to post and visible to other members of the community. You’ll receive responses through the site – your contact details stay private unless you choose to share them.
We encourage everyone to post genuine, respectful requests – whether it’s to get something done, start a project, or simply connect with like-minded locals.
Requests expire automatically
To keep things relevant and up to date, Requests expire after 14 days. You can easily request again.
